Tasks

Bronze

To create a bar graph for 2 of the groups’ favourite toppings with support.

Silver

To calculate the tally scores for 3 groups and turn information into a bar graph.

Gold

To calculate the total scores for each topping for the whole class and create a bar graph.

Reflect / Evaluate

Nearly all pupils were able to create a tally chart of their peers’ favourite pancake toppings. They were then able to convert this data into a bar graph.
RE, TA, DS, HW needed some support on how to create the graph.

Most children did not label the axis so this needs to be pointed out in a future lesson.

Enhanced Provision

Construction Area – Creating models using 3d shapes. Use of construction cards for support if needed.
